Neema Crafts Centre Internet Café is the place to find out about local cultural tourism around Iringa. We want to help small local initiatives to succeed and we want to help tourists and tour guides find out about them.

There is so much more to see and do than just Safaris.

Please e-mail or phone us or ask in person in our internet café for information on walking tours, campsites, cultural visits and other local attractions. We can direct you to hidden gems which most tourists and travelers miss out on.

Neema Crafts acts purely as an information point with a staff member on hand to help you find what you are looking for, to offer advice and to help you make contact with the tour guide, vehicle, hire, campsite etc. you want. We take no commission, we ask only for a donation towards our work if you are happy with the information we provide.

Iringa is the heart of the Southern Safari circuit in Tanzania and Neema Crafts Centre is one of the main tourist locations in Iringa. We want to give you a place to find out about what is going on locally and all the many things there are to see and do here. We want to help you to experience more of Tanzania than just the traditional safari! However if it the traditional safari you are after, we can point you in the direction of a variety of local businesses which will hire cars and drivers so you can enjoy your safari at a cheaper rate and know you are directly benefiting local businesses.

If you are traveling this way, make sure you set aside at least half an hour to visit us and have a tour of our workshops, we guarantee it will be one of the highlights of your time in Tanzania. The coffee and ice cream in our restaurant is pretty good too!
